Short Bio: I was born in Monterrey Mexico.  Completed Medical School at the School of Medicine of the University of Nuevo Leon and graduated from the School of Psychology at the University of Monterrey.  Completed Residency in Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at The Menninger School of Psychiatry and Psychoanalysis and Child Psychoanalysis at the Topeka Institute for Psychoanalysis.   Have served as Director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Director of Education and Research and President and Chief of Staff of The Menninger Clinic.  Among publications: Treating Personality Disorders in Children and Adolescents: A Relational Approach (2001) Guilford Press: New York
