Luis A. Rohde

Luis A Rohde, MD, PhD is an Associate Professor of Child Psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, and Director of the Program for Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder at the Hospital de Clinicas de Porto Alegre, Brazil. In addition to his work as ad hoc reviewer for several international journals and research agencies, he is currently Editor of the Journal of the Brazilian Association of Psychiatry, Associate Editor of the European Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Appointed International Editor of the J Am Acad Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and member of the Editorial Board of several other journals like the Neuropsychiatric Genetics and the Journal of Attention Disorder.
He is Assistant – General Secretary of the International Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions and member of the workgroup on Externalizing and Learning Disorders for the DSM-V and the Global Scientific Partnership Coordinating Group for ICD-11.   
Dr. Rohde’s research interests include ADHD epidemiology, genetics, pharmacogenetics, neuroimaging, and the effects of pharmacological and psychosocial treatments for ADHD. He has published extensively in peer review international and national journals (more than 90 papers), and has been an author or co-author in over 30 book chapters/books and editorials.
