She has developed since 1989 and coordinates mental health care and research programs for infants, adolescents, and families who experience severe trauma in war-torn countries and in crisis situations.

She is head of a clinic for psychopathology in toddlers, infants, and adolescents in a northern suburb of Paris with a highly multicultural population (families from the Maghreb, Subsaharian Africa, the West Indies, Eastern Europe, Asia). A pupil of Serge Lebovici, she continues the work he started with toddlers and their parents (therapy and prevention). She has opened a “language center” for school-age children and created a place of service and therapy for adolescents. For twenty years, she has been developing a transcultural clinic which tries to adapt our mental health care settings, techniques, and research methods to immigrant families and their children.
